September 11-14, 2024
After attending a very successful meeting of the PERT Consortium in Austin, TX, in 2023, GTF Scholars were invited to participate in and present their research data at the 10th Annual Pulmonary Embolism Symposium from September 11-14, 2024, in Boston, MA.
The scholars presented the following research projects:
1. Cancer Associated Thrombosis: Arya Karmarkar, Avaneesh Jadhav, Avani Prabhu
2. Chronic Immune Thrombocytopenia: Isha Labhsetwar, Keerti Chakravarthy, Uddip Kashyap
3. D-Dimer: Parnika Tanguturu, Rishi Motkur
4. Heparin Resistance: Maanas Deodhar, Srishti Sawant, Surabhi Fadnavis
The scholars, besides making impressive presentations, made several important contacts and generated new projects to be carried on in the next year: Women in Research (Keerti Chakravarthy), Global Heparin Shortage (Maanas Deodhar, Srishti Sawant and Surabhi Fadnavis), Artificial Intelligence (Uddip Kashyap).
