It is with deep sorrow that we learned of the passing of Prof. Giuseppe Maria Andreozzi on January 10th 2026 at the age of 80.
Giuseppe Maria Andreozzi was a prominent figure in the International Union of Angiology (IUA). He has held significant roles within national and international angiology and vascular medicine societies, including being an Italian National Delegate at the IUA and serving as Director of the Angiology Unit at the University Hospital of Padua.
We would like to extend our deepest condolences to the family and the Italian Society of Angiology and Vascular Medicine. He was not only a professional excellence and a figure of highest human value in the fields of Angiology and within the IUA, but also a good friend of many among us. His expertise and human commitment represented a point of reference for the medical community, we will miss him, and his legacy will go on with a profound impact on IUA and vascular medicine.
